Information we collect
SpeedTech collects the personal data you provide when you place an order or fill out a form, including:
- Contact information: name, phone number, email address and shipping address.
- Country and city of residence.
- ID number (optional) to issue an invoice.
- Information about your vehicle or build that you choose to share.
How we use the information
- To process, charge for and ship the products you order.
- To keep you informed about your order status and tracking.
- To provide technical support and handle warranty claims.
- To improve the experience on our website.
- To send you promotional messages, only with your consent.
- To meet legal and tax obligations.
How we receive your orders
If you pay online, your order details are stored with our web hosting provider and your name, email and phone are shared with ONVO to process the payment. You enter your card details directly on ONVO's secure page: SpeedTech never sees or stores them. If you send your order or a form on WhatsApp, the information reaches our team that way and is logged with our hosting provider for follow-up.
Sharing information with third parties
- ONVO, to process card and SINPE Móvil payments.
- Shipping and courier companies (Correos de Costa Rica, DHL) to deliver your order.
- Providers that help us run the site and email purchase receipts.
- Authorities, when required by law.
SpeedTech account and ST Premium
If you create an account we store your name, email and phone, your encrypted password (never the password itself), your membership, your courses and your progress. ST Premium and course payments are processed by ONVO: your card details go directly to ONVO and SpeedTech never sees or stores them. You can delete your account anytime under My account.
The STuner app has its own privacy policy.
Protecting your information
We implement reasonable measures to protect your data against unauthorized access. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data by writing to info@speedtechcr.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy at any time. Changes take effect as soon as they are published on this website.
